Jessica spent the first 13 years of her advertising career in account management, because she thrived on the energy that is created when creative and brilliant people come together to bring ideas to life. Along her journey, she realized that her passion not only lies in the work created, but also in helping people. That’s why she took an exciting position with Kay & Black to help other account managers and strategist find their working homes where they will thrive.
She joined Kay & Black from SoHo’s Night Agency where she became head of account management. At Night Agency, she worked with clients including Purina, Kiehl’s, Schweid & Sons and Hanes.
Prior to that she spent four years at Saatchi & Saatchi NY supervising integrated brand campaigns for General Mills and JCPenney under the creative brilliance of Tony Granger and Gerry Graf. Jessica also worked at OgilvyOne for three years on B2B campaigns for IBM Worldwide. She started my career in promotional marketing.
Jessica loves to surround herself with creative people both professionally and personally. Her husband (Gary Van Dzura) is an award winning Creative Director at Wieden + Kennedy NY, brother-in law is a Sr Digital Producer at R/GA, sister is a Sr Graphic Designer, and mom is an award winning realism oil painter with work featured in galleries in PA, NJ and NY.
When Jessica isn’t working she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and son Gavin Max in Hoboken, NJ. And for the past 10 years she’s been a member of the American Poolplayers Association and loves the thrill of competing in 9 ball and 8 ball tournaments.
