“Caru”, in the Welsh language (pronounced “carry”) means “love”. My father is originally from the breathtaking country of Wales, and my parents couldn’t have bestowed a better name on me to help shape who I am today and the person I continue to grow into, and aspire to be.
I’m passionate about coaching people, and I’m inspired by those who have found, or are seeking to find, that same passion for themselves.
“Lead with heart” is my approach to life and I genuinely care about, and want the very best for, everyone. These attributes helped fuel my 13-year career as a successful HR Director at some of NY’s top agencies, and have been the catalyst that launched Coaching with Caru.
In 2018, I realized that the moments I spent coaching colleagues through challenges or crossroads in their careers were the parts of my day that brought me the most joy, satisfaction, and fulfillment. It was their transformation that inspired me, and fueled me with energy and a feeling of purpose.
This got me thinking…“What would ‘Coach Caru’ tell me to do with this epiphany?” She’d say – “Use it, embrace it, own it, cultivate it, pursue it with everything you have!”
So I took Coach Caru’s advice, and I seized the opportunity my passions, experiences, and unique qualifications afforded me and started my own business.
